About OFFICE MUGINO

Go Mugino / 麦野 豪

Mr. Mugino was born in Hsinchu City, Taiwan and spent most of his childhood in the city before moving to Japan to further continue his study.

After graduating from Seikei University with a bachelor’s degree in law, he soon joined Tomen Corporation (now Toyota Tsusho Corporation) in 1988.

With four years of working experience, Mr. Mugino realized first hand on how important education is, hence why he continued to pursue his education and graduated from Aoyama Gakuin University with master’s degree in international political economy at 1996.

Soon after obtaining his master's degree, he was later re-positioned by Tomen Corporation to be one of the starting staff in the Chicago branch of Tomen Corporation, he later spent three years in Chicago while honing his marketing and communication skill before going back to Japan.

Right now, he has more than 20 years of experience in sales and marketing consumer goods and brands and 17 years of managing various luxury brands and retails.

At Mont Blanc, he directed the conversion of the brand from “only a pen brand” to “lifestyle brand”.

At Audemars Piguet Japan, he led the brand to revitalize its brand image and tripled its sales in only under 8 years. Which led to the company's decision to expand its market reach to Korea.

At Lladró, he led the brand re-positioning project that led the brand to gain more market share and more male customers. This, in turn, led the company to expand its product range such as luxury room lighting and luxury interior decorations. Boutiques that were directly led by him, tripled their sales in only two years, making Japan to be the best market for the brand in the whole Asia and Oceania regions.

Utilizing his experience and his connections, he established “OFFICE MUGINO” in 2019 and began taking a lot of branding related projects for multiple international companies and international brands in various industries.
